Structural Material Manager Version 11.4 Upgrade
Introduction: This information summarizes the improvements that have been made to the Version 11.4 Structural Material Manager software system.
Gross Pricing Made Possible By Exporting Nested Summaries to "Buy Lists": Material pricing offered by previous Structural Material Manager versions was net versus gross. That is, it was based on the cut sizes rather than the stock sizes and thus did not account for drop.
The Version 11.4 upgrade allows you to price based on gross sizes. Rather than simply adding prices to a nested list, the upgrade has implemented the feature in a more useful manner: a job's nested summary can now be sent to a separate job file. The new job file can then be used for purchasing, and it will of course have access to all of the existing pricing features. Think of that new job file as a "Buy List."
